I played through Daikatana when it was free on Gametap. The game stinks, I wanted to like it, since I like the time-travel storyline in it, but the fact you need to babysit your 2 sidekicks is the worse! Would that half finished gimmicky feature been removed it would have been much better. John Romero the lead designer of the game has become a joke. The company he started after leaving ID "Ion Storm" (moar like Shit storm ;) ) has made to be fair some really good (Deus Ex and Anachronox) and some really bad games (Daikatana, Dominion). Deus Ex 2: Invisible War was ok but much worse and dumbed down for console in comparison to the masterpiece which was Deus Ex. The company failed and now he is making cell phone games, kind of said if you think about that he used to be one of the dudes that made one of the best FPS games, including of course Doom and Quake.
